Streamers, Ballons & Baby Bumps

Not one but TWO beautiful ladies with cute baby bumps due in Jan/Feb with sweet little ladies and I had the pleasure of throwing them a baby shower. I decorated, made goodies and filled the house with yummy scents. I love these memories. Yarn letters of the first letter of the babies name will be in a tutorial post next. Here's to the happy Mommys!

Snow, Family, Wood Stove

I have been very blessed to be able to visit my Sister either in Anchorage or Ketchikan five time within Bryson first year of life. I miss Her. I miss my sister and her family. Just last week Bryson and I packed up or bags and headed north to the snow. My niece is eight months old and she is so beautiful!  I love being able to be apart of her life and watching her grow even living so far away.

I remember waking up at night looking over at your face. The room was dark and quiet, you were asleep with the blankets tucked around you. You looked so peaceful, you looked fulfilled. In that moment I knew it was you. I knew my life without you wouldn't be whole.

So, I have been slacking

This little Mr. is way ahead of this Mamma! I had great intentions to make a teething pad to go around Bryson's crib before his teeth came in because, you know, I have all the time in the world since I am a stay at home Mom, right..? Ha! I did make it to the fabric store and the boy collection was limited and I figured "Not my baby"... Yup I want to be one of those Moms when it came to this. Well, I have been out teethed. Bryson +1, Mom 0.
