Aunties Love

I feel like every time Bryson takes a nap he wakes up bigger. This little man is growing so fast! We have a box full of out grown stuff :( Sad.
Our weekend was great! Brian's sister and sister-in-law came up to visit from Tacoma, WA. This was their first time meeting Bryson and boy was he spoiled! Lots of loves until the next visit. We will be heading down to visit the rest of the family in March and by then he will be 3months old. Geez!!
Lots of smiles and working on the little laugh over our weekend.

Snuggles

Wrapping you in a blanket, picking you up in my arms and rocking you back and forth while I hum songs to you and watch you fall asleep...
I cried a little the other night while feeding him realizing how fast he is growing while his small little feet hung off the pillow.  These are the moments I want to take in, the moments I want to know I made all the right choices and the moments that I remember when I am waving bye as he takes his last box of stuff and walks out of the house one day...
6 weeks old and already full of smiles, snuggles and coo's.

A breakthrough!

I feel like it happened overnight. Weeks of fussiness, gas pain, crying colic baby, Bryson is smiling and a happy baby! Thank God! He was wearing me out. We are sleeping three hours strait at night and going right back to bed after feedings and diaper changes. I am in love with him! He is so handsome and responding which gives me more energy to keep going. I am blown away by how fast he is growing and, he seems to be way past his age. B is happy that on the weekends and nights after work he can come home to a happy baby rather then a fussy crying one. I felt bad for him because Bryson would be good all day then fussy when B would get home. Poor guy. Bryson is 5 Weeks old!

Jenn came up for the weekend to visit, YA! We had a nice lazy relaxing weekend. She was last up here for the birth and finally got to come back up to see baby.

He likes his bath times with Dad and snuggle times with Mom.

One and a half more months and we get to take his first airplane ride to go meet his new cousin!

One Month Old

This little fella is a busy boy. Forget the swaddle He always has to have his hands and legs moving. Already a month old! Time sure does fly and I am ambivalent about it. I am ready for a more closer connection with responses, ready to sleep more during the night, love watching him mature, but also sad when daily I feel like I am putting his clothes in a too small box. :( 
Everything is going well we are just working through a little digestive/gas at night. Its sad when your baby cries and you fell helpless. B is a big help with Bryson. Its so nice to have a partner, during the late nights when I am up with him I have so much respect for the single parents out there.
I asked B the other day if he had any idea it was going to be this hard... He said No and I 100% agreed! Totally worth it but wow.
Bryson is starting to focus on your face and even if its "gas" that makes them smile I still love it! He sleeps for 2-3hrs a night between feedings and even has his nights of being social. I find myself shopping online at 2am from my iphone. Oh and by the way WHAT did mothers do before iphones?
Only 8 More weeks till we get to meet our sweet Cora in Anchorage!
