I love the daylight that comes with summers. More time outside, with family and friends but most of all a different kind of happiness that warms the heart. This last week B and I attened our first summer dinner with friends and family that is held once a week all summer till the last cruise ship unties from the dock. The whales are out front again, the salmon are making there way back home and in my belly :)
We are 12week (ya!) and so far so great! I am thankful to have a pregnancy that is healthy and stable. No morning sickness here! The biggest symptom so far is extreme tiredness that hits me like a freight train. I have had some flu like symptoms that keeps me in bed more then I would like but I will take that over being sick all day. We are hoping in mid July we can find out the gender of our little one. So happy.

Coming soon...

Baby Brissette!!

B and I were actually in shock for this one. Last February we made a decision together to take a break from the intentional "baby making" and focus on our health and where God wanted us to go next in our life. I stayed with my friend Jenn in Seattle the end of March before the Phoenix dental convention. We were on our way to breakfast and I was sitting in the front of her car with my legs crossed and as we parked I got out of the car, shut the door and had a bad cramp in my uterus. I walked to the end of the car gave Jenn a funny look and said "Um, Don't think I'm crazy but I am pretty sure I am pregnant!" Sure enough, there in that Safeway bathroom on March 28th I saw the two pink little lines that melted my heart.

We had our first ultrasound at 6.3 weeks along. We wanted to go in early to see if we have made it past the 6 week mark. The last two pregnancies never made it past 6 weeks and we never found out until week 10. I was so scared, my stomach was in knots and my heart was pounding. I met B at the OB and we headed in with very few words. The scene was all to familiar, we have been here twice before. The Dr. came in and we went over the questionnaire once more. I felt like I was holding my breath as the ultrasound screen began to take shape....

I pointed to the screen and said "Look B I see the HEARTBEAT!!!" The most beautiful thing we have ever seen. Thank you God for your blessings and love. 152bpm and measuring 6w3d!!

With way more hope and excitement then ever before we had our 2nd appointment at 11weeks to see if our sweet baby was still beating strong. And....

We couldn't be more overjoyed! Due the beginning of December our little Baby is healthy and we are so happy!

I have decided that next weekend I am not making ANY plans! Its going to be a pj's all weekend kind of day! Mothers day was very nice spending it with my Mom and family. My younger sister and B was missed but that didn't stop us from having some delicious carrot cake made by Misty.
I started the day with a very intimate and cute wedding. The couple came off a cruise ship with two of their closes friends. I picked them up with my friend and we drove to Ward Lake were they got married in the woods and we walked around the lake taking pictures. I love that no matter the weather or the place these two made their love happen.

One of my favorite things with having my new job is I get Fridays off! Three day weekends are amazing but I tend to find tons of things to fill them up with. Last Friday I got to help my parents put the boat in the water for their 2012 Charter Fishing season. Great memories of growing up, helping on the boat, camping and the best fishing the Derby. Only 3 more weeks till this years Derby weekend and I am already thinking of the grocery list. :) Here are some pictures of the boat heading to the marina. My parents do an amazing job keeping this boat in great condition. I will say that one thing I have learned from them is if you want anything in life to last, from a material item to a relationship, you take care of it and it will last...

Day Dreaming

B and I flew back from Hawaii on a red eye flight arriving home at 8am Monday morning were I made a b-line for my bed and slept the day away. Hawaii was great. We had a few days of showers and then sun and sand.
The day after we returned I started my new job at the vet clinic. Its amazing! The hustle and bustle is crazy, I mean good crazy! I love that my mind is always multitasking and my hands even grab something before I even now what I am doing. Haha! The downfall..... Their is kitten that sit directly across front on my desk... REALLY and you expect me to work! lol!

My house is neglected, and my car looks sad. I have a busy weekend ahead of me to get back on track. Oh and did I mention I need groceries? Anyone want to go shopping for me? ugg.
I feel like this last week has been a day dream.
There is many new changes happening in our life but I have to say my heart is where it needs to be.
