Bye Bye Sugar Bugs

I'm not sure I have mentioned this on here before but I kinda have a little obsession with getting my teethe cleaned. I think its about every four months, if I can wait that long! After working in the dental field I have seen a variate of mouths and I am SO glad I kiss only one person these days! I don't miss the dating years!!
When Bryson's little teeth started poking through he learned what a tooth brush was real fast. I have seen to many kids get put under anesthesia to get their teeth worked on... DON"T EVEN get me started on this subject! I'm sure a future blog is in-store.

Our daily tooth brushing around our house is Bryson laying on his back on the floor, one of us kneeling over him and brushing his teeth while try to hold him still. Does he like it? Not really. But its tough love. I chose not to neglect my child because he may not like to do it but his health is in my hands.
I got my teeth cleaned a while back and wanted to see how Bryson would do. I let my (friend) Hygienist know I wasn't expecting it to go well and if he cried at least his mouth would be open... Much to my surprise...

HE DID AMAZING!!! No cavities and twelve little teeth! Thanks Lisa!

Happy Birthday B

There's that one person

Your heart...  No your soul just knows,

Everything is worth fighting for,

Family is a gift,

Growing old together is better then you could have imagined.

Happy Birthday Brian! Growing old with you is Heaven.

We had an early Birthday celebration this month for B since our calendar became very packed full of events. We were very blessed to have beautiful weather, amazing friends & family to share it with! Here's to another year together and another year of being blessed by this Man.

P.S. I love you

Sunshine, Family and Little Ones

Family Visit!!! My sister Katrina and her family came to visit! We had a fast week of doing lots and not doing lots. Its hard trying to make plans with two little ones nap schedules on different times but we made it work. Bryson & Cora are three months apart and are both in a fun learning stage. Cora repeats what you say and Bryson shows Cora all his toys that He's not quite sure about sharing yet.  Look at Cora, what a little character! Boat rides, play dates, swimming and kayaking. What a great week!

Smushy Gushy

Sensory Play,  Day 4-

I love using this pool for play time. It saves this Mama a lot of clean up! Day 4 of Sensory Play brought us to shaving cream + cornstarch = Smushy Gushy Moon Dust. I mixed both parts until I got a good consistency that was compact-able. Next time Ill use a little less cornstarch for a more damp consistency. Bryson wasn't quite sure about this stuff so we gave him a spoon and then he loved it.

Rain, Rain Go Away, Come Back....

A while back we had rain none stop for three days straight, I was beginning to get worried. If I started to see animals gathering together two by two I was screwed! The rain was constant, my Dog didn't even want to leave the house.  I swear it still sounds like its raining in my head from the repetitive sound of rain on the metal roof.

The weather cleared and the trees dripped the last of the rain fall. That was our que:

Oh man this little guy, what an outside adventurous kid. Love him!

Hold your breath

Sensory Play, Day 3

The older Bryson gets the more fun he has at play times because he can understand everything more easily. Our Day 3 of Sensory Play took us to the swimming pool. Jumping off the side is beginning to be the best thing, going around in the whorl pool makes him laugh and discovering all the toys that splash water is an adventure all in its self.

The best part of doing these Sensory Play Days is not only does Bryson get to learn new things I get to watch him discover. I get to see things in a different view that I miss on a daily basis. Being a Mom is draining, its dirty, its long stretches on selfless love but its the most rewarding calling I will do in my entire life. Its the meaning of true love.

Happy Mothers Day

This is our second home in the summer. My parents charter fish out of this marina, my sister works here and it is a social hang out. Bryson likes the ducks, fish, birds and boats. The other night we took a stroll down the dock and tried to catch a few family pictures. Every time my camera comes out Bryson intentional looks away... little turd!
I am so thankful for this family. My Mother who loves well, My Dad that taught us taking care of the things that matter in life will last, My Husband that supports and listens to me & our Son who has given me a purpose I never knew existed! Happy Mothers Day.
